iRemit named most innovative company
iRemit, the largest non-bank Filipino-owned remittance company, was named the most innovative company in the Asia CEO Awards – Philippines 2011 in ceremonies held last Thursday, November 10, 2011 at the Marriott Hotel Manila.
The Asia CEO Awards, presented by American Express, recognizes the outstanding leadership achievements of individuals and organizations in Philippines.
Bansan C. Choa, chairman and chief executive officer, was also named one of the finalists in the global Filipino executive of the year award.
The most innovative company award is given to a Philippine-based organization that achieved important success within the Philippines or internationally. The company must have demonstrated Filipino or mixed Filipino and expatriate management talent performing at the highest standards and recognized as internationally significant.
