The Huwag Magpaloko! Symposium is a joint project between Villar SIPAG (Social Institute for Poverty Alleviation and Governance) and Blas F. Normando Anire of NBI and Sen. Cynthia Villar of Villar Foundation.
The Villar SIPAG (Social Institute for Poverty Alleviation and Governance) is an initiative under the Villar Foundation, a non-stock, non-profit organization that aims to support projects geared toward helping the less fortunate countrymen break free form the clutches of poverty.
The Blas F. Ople Policy Center and Training Institute is also a non-stock, non-profit organization that handles labor and migration concerns and develops programs to empower the OFW community. Named after the late Labor and Foreign Affairs Secretary Blas F. Ople, it is headed by Susan “Toots” Ople, the youngest daughter of Ka Blas. Some of their notable programs include: Anti-Human Trafficking Drive, Skills-up and Tulay Program.
