KAKAMMPI, established in 1983, is a NGO that blossomed into a massive network of local chapters in Metro Manila and adjacent provinces such as Rizal, Pampanga, Zambales, Pangasinan, Bataan, Ifugao, Benguet, Bicol, Cagayan, Tarlac, Tacloban, Iloilo, Cebu and Zamboanga. They were formed to protect the rights and welfare of OFWs and their families, as well as effectively respond to the growing problems of labor migration in the country.
