KABAYANIHAN caravan program visits food factory in Taiwan

In Taiwan, the KABAYANIHAN caravan program visited the I-MEI Foods Factory in Nankan, Taouyan to promote the service among the Filipino workers at the said food factory. The Section Manager, Ms. Sophia Wu, toured representatives from SSS, Pag-IBIG and OWWA within the factory. And over lunch the representatives was able to give a briefing to the workers to further enlighten them with the caravan program. I-Remit Taiwan was also present to support the caravan program by way of joining the caravan team in bringing the services closer to the OFWs. Membership for Pag-IBIG was coursed thru I-Remit and as a token, free T-Shirts of Pag-IBIG and I-Remit were given away to the workers.

As a result of the well-accepted program at the factory, the representatives from the SSS, Pag-IBIG, OWWA and I-Remit were invited to come back and visit the other branch of the food factory to service the other Filipino workers as well.

The KABAYANIHAN caravan program is a one-stop-shop where OFWs may access the services of SSS, Pag-IBIG and POEA thru online information access to its members on and off the worksite.
